Paul M. Bernard

President & CEO

As CEO, Paul Bernard is responsible for setting the strategic direction of CallMiner, driving operational execution, and building a collaborative culture that is the foundation for achieving customer, partner, employee, and investor goals. Paul has over 25 years of experience in high technology and banking, including roles as both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for both early stage privately held companies and later stage public companies. Most recently, he served as COO and CFO of ExaGrid Systems, a $40M global provider of backup storage systems. Prior to that Paul was the CFO of EqualLogic, a primary storage systems provider that grew rapidly to over $100M in sales and was sold to Dell for $1.4 billion. Paul was also the CFO of CareInsite, an early e-health player that went public in 1999 and later sold to WebMd for $2 billion. Earlier in his career, Paul served in senior roles at Thinking Machines, Compugraphic, GCA Corporation, BayBanks, and State Street Bank. He holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.
