Paul Bernard

President & CEO

Mr. Bernard has over 25 years experience in High Technology and Banking including roles as both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for both early stage privately held companies and later stage public companies. Most recently, he served as COO and CFO of ExaGrid Systems, a $40M global provider of backup storage systems. Prior to that Mr. Bernard was the CFO of EqualLogic, a primary storage systems provider that grew rapidly to over $100M in sales and was sold to Dell for $1.4 billion. Mr. Bernard was also the CFO of CareInsite, an early e-health player that went public in 1999 and later sold to WebMd for $2 Billion. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bernard served in senior roles at Thinking Machines, Compugraphic, GCA Corporation, BayBanks, and State Street Bank. He holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.

Adam Walton

COO

As Chief Operating Officer, Adam Walton oversees CallMiner’s services, development, and support teams in the U.S. and U.K. and will be based at the company’s Boston, Massachusetts, office. After training as an accountant, Walton has 20 years of experience in the software application sector. He joined CallMiner from Ingres, the open source relational database company where he was Director responsible for the Benelux region. Prior to Ingres, he was founder and managing director of an on-line performance management software company. From 1994 to 2001, Walton was Head of Sales and then Director of Acquisitions for fast-growing software company, the Cedar Group, where he led the negotiation and integration of a number of successful corporate acquisitions. Walton holds a BSc Honours degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.

Prior to CallMiner, Dan was the Senior Director of SaaS Global ShareFile at Citrix, where he grew the business unit to 80+ employees and $100+ million in revenue. Previous to Citrix, Dan was a sales leader in the IT call center and asset management markets for HP (Peregrine). Dan earned a BS in Information Science from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from the High Technology program at Northeastern University.

He introduced the tag-line “Listen to your customers – Improve your business” which is both something he passionately embraces in marketing and production management, and how he articulates the benefit CallMiner Eureka brings to market. Prior to CallMiner Scott was Sr. Director of Global Product Management at MIVA (an internet search marketing company), and Director of Product Management and Marketing for the New Ventures division at Corel Corporation (makers of personal and business software CorelDraw® and WordPerfect®). Scott holds a BScE in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University (Ontario, Canada), and is certified in Pragmatic Marketing and SCRUM.

He has held a variety of contact center leadership roles at Fidelity Investments, Stream International, Time Warner Cable, and E*Trade where he worked to implement new partners, products, and technologies to improve contact center performance and efficiency. Most recently, he was the Senior Director of Professional Services at Nexidia (another speech analytics provider). Tony earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University and completed post-baccalaureate work at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Mr. Lane is a 1993 graduate with honors from Framingham State College.
